Elcometer P500

While the Elcometer P500 was originally designed to precisely locate road caps and manhole covers, it can also be used to locate marker pegs, boundary marks, and other smaller objects.

The Elcometer P500 is extremely easy to use and very robust - this has made it a very popular device. Metal objects can be detected up to a maximum depth of 1 meter.
The Elcometer P500 differs from other industrial metal detectors in the following ways :

• The highly concentrated search field ensures that objects can be precisely located, even in the vicinity of metal fences and vehicles.
• Unlike many other metal detectors, "ghost signals" from packets of cigarettes, beverage cans and other metallic waste products are ignored.

• The balanced and light probe is operated with a single button.
• Acoustic signal with headphone connection and an ultra-bright LED to indicate the location of metal objects.
