Absolute top-of-the-range detector

The Legend is an absolute top-of-the-range metal detector offering all the possibilities you could only dream of until now, and at an affordable price!

The new version of The Legend now comes with the 30 x 23 cm LG30 DD search coil instead of the 28 cm LG28 DD search coil. With the larger LG30 search coil, you benefit from better coverage, improved response time and better depth performance. It's also lighter than the previous LG28 search coil. What's more, the new version features a carbon center linkage and a new armrest, meaning that the new model weighs a total of 126 g less than the old model.

Nokta's new SMF multi-frequency technology allows users to search all frequencies at once. However, you can also work with a selectable search frequency, where you can choose between 4, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz. Low search frequencies have the advantage of being able to search deeper, and are particularly suited to searching for larger, lower objects.

High search frequencies have a shallower depth, but are very accurate for detecting smaller objects in the upper layer. Choose one of the SMF Simultaneous Multi Frequency modes, where you can search on all search frequencies from 4 to 40 kHz at the same time! The Legend then combines the advantages of all search frequencies, enabling you to find very small objects better, and larger objects even deeper. Salty minerals on beaches and in salt water can be completely ignored by Legend! Of course, you can also work with a single selectable search frequency, so you can choose the search frequency that best suits your order.

Fully waterproof

The Legend is fully waterproof (IP68) to a depth of 3 meters underwater. This allows you to go further and search in places where no-one has searched before. It also has the advantage of being able to rinse completely with water, making cleaning much quicker and easier.

Integrated Bluetooth, including aptX Low Latency headphones

An integrated wireless module is a must, of course, but The Legend also comes with high-quality Bluetooth aptX™™ Low Latency headphones. These headphones cover your ears completely, so ambient noise won't bother you when you're concentrating on the sounds of your metal detector.

Ferro-Check Ferro Check

is a unique feature of The Legend and displays the ratio of iron to non-ferrous metals in the buried object, enabling you to identify objects even better before digging. With the new Ferro Check function, you'll find less "modern" waste such as bottle caps.

4 search programs

The Legend has 4 search programs: Park, Field, Beach and Golden Field.

Park mode is designed to search for coins and jewelry in frequently visited areas where there is a lot of modern garbage such as aluminum foil, peeling pellets, bottle caps, etc.

Field mode is designed to search for coins and relics in mowed and ploughed fields.

Beach mode is optimized for use on dry or wet beaches, and for underwater use.

Goldfield mode is perfect for searching for gold nuggets on mineralized gold fields.

Rugged construction and replaceable battery

The Legend features a sturdy construction and carbon bottom linkage. It can be pushed compactly for transport and can be quickly and easily adjusted to any desired length. The Legend has a built-in battery that can be charged via USB. You can also attach an external battery under the armrest, so you never run out of power on the move. (The external battery is not included in the standard package, but only in the Pro package).

Extended tone settings - now with polyphonic tones!

Legend offers object recognition in the form of polyphonic tones. What's more, you can choose the number of different tones you want to use (1, 2, 4, 6 or a maximum of 60) and individually adjust the position of these tones along the conductivity scale (tonebreak). You can also adjust the pitch and volume, and if you don't want any sound at all, you can set the unit to vibrate, which is ideal for underwater research.

Built-in clock and time of use

As a true prospector, you know how quickly time flies when you're looking, and it's annoying when you have to grab your phone with dirty hands to see what time it is.

With The Legend, you'll always have an eye on the time. By looking at the screen, you can see what time it is and also immediately how long the sensor has been working.

Recovery speed, lighting and software updates

The Legend offers the option of adjusting the recovery speed. For example, if you want a maximum depth range, you should set the recovery speed as low as possible. If you're searching in frequently visited areas, such as parks, it's a good idea to set the retrieve speed higher to better identify nearby objects. What's more, Legend features screen backlighting and search coil illumination to enable evening searches, as well as updatable software to keep your Legend up to date!
