The Quest X10 IDmaxX stands for maximum fun for the whole family and delivers a strong search performance. It is one of the most compact metal detectors on the market and fits in any backpack. Very practical if you always want to have it with you when cycling or hiking.
The new Quest X10 IDmaxX takes the X10 Pro to a new level: thanks to a larger, more powerful search coil, improved hardware and a built-in wireless module, it is a fantastic choice for beginners and advanced users.
Search coil
With the new Blade11 search coil, the X10 now searches even deeper and covers a larger area. With the 28 x 26 cm search coil, the X10 IDmaxX is a powerful alternative in the mid-price segment.
Length-adjustable frame and adjustable armrest
The redesigned pole is equipped with three swivel fixings, allowing the detector to be infinitely adjusted from 49 to 133 cm. Perfectly compact for the rucksack! The armrest has also been redesigned compared to the X10 Pro. The sturdy armrest can be fixed with two thick plastic screws along the entire upper linkage. This means that a screwdriver is no longer required to set up the X10.
Wireless module
The X10 IDmaxX has a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless module for connecting wireless headphones. Compatible are the WireFree Lite and WireFree Pro headphones from Quest (not included).
The most important things for the start
With the discrimination option, certain conductance ranges can be ignored by the detector, i.e. iron signals, for example, can be masked out so that old nails are not constantly dug up. In addition, the automatic ground adjustment ensures that the detector does not emit any noise from natural mineralization in the ground, so that you can concentrate fully on the beautiful finds. As soon as a signal is found, the pinpoint function can be used to quickly locate the exact position of the object so that the first treasures can be brought to the surface without the need for lengthy digging.
Reliable and convenient
With its outstanding search performance for this price range, fast response time and high-quality materials, the Quest X10 is the perfect companion that can withstand any weather conditions. The detector is completely waterproof up to 3 m under water. The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 30 hours of battery life as well as the simple option of recharging via the USB-C cable supplied. Another special feature of the X10 is the coil illumination, which, together with the display backlight, provides the necessary visibility when searching at dusk.
Differences between the X10 IDmaxX and the X10 Pro
The X10 IDmaxX has been the successor to the Quest X10 Pro since June 2024. Here is a list of all the differences between the two:
The X10 IDmaxX has a completely new, high-quality pole that can be pushed together very compactly to 49 cm. This means that the X10 fits into many rucksacks. The armrest has also been redesigned and can be easily adjusted to the correct position with two screws on the upper frame.
The X10 IDmaxX has a new and larger Blade11 search coil measuring 28 x 26 cm (previously BladeS 24 x 14 cm). This gives the IDmaxX a greater depth range than the X10 Pro.
Due to the new linkage and search coil, the IDmaxX is slightly heavier than the X10 Pro and now weighs 1.2 kg.
The IDmaxX has a built-in wireless module that allows you to connect the Quest WireFree Lite and Quest WireFree Pro headphones directly to the detector.
The interface has also changed a little. In addition to the orange-colored display illumination, the IDmaxX now has the search modes Park, Field, Gold and User.
