The new series of Nokta Security metal detectors takes security to a whole new level by offering advanced detection technologies and the highest reliability. The features of the NMS30 comply with both NIJ Standard 0602.02 and the new NIJ Design Standard 0602.03.

Robust and waterproof construction

With its comfortable handle that does not extend into the detection area and rounded design, it can be easily moved over the area to be examined without getting caught on clothing. In addition, the NMS30 is completely waterproof and can therefore be completely immersed in the water. This has the advantage that, for example, open-air events can continue scanning in the rain. In addition, you can easily clean the handheld scanner and rinse it under the tap.

Sensitivity adjustable

The NMS30 is designed to search for all kinds of metals such as iron and various precious metals. The sensitivity or search depth is adjustable in 3 different levels. At the lowest level, sensitivity to small objects is minimized. If you set the handheld scanner to the highest level, you have the maximum depth for larger objects and at the same time the maximum sensitivity for small objects.

Detection signals

The NMS30 can report metal objects in 3 different ways: with LEDs, sound and vibration. The LEDs are always lit and can be adjusted in combination with sound and/or vibration. Based on the 3 LED bars, you can see the size of the detected metal object.

1. Bar in green means: Small object

1st bar green and 2nd bar yellow means: Medium object

1st bar green, 2nd bar yellow and 3rd bar red means: Large object

1st, 2nd and 3rd bars red mean: very large object

Removal of reinforced concrete signals in the ground If you want to scan closer to the ground when scanning for reinforced concrete and the scanner reacts to the material of the floor, you can hide the floor metal at the push of a button so that scanning can continue on the lower legs.

Batteries and charging station

The NMS30 comes with rechargeable batteries that last up to 40 hours when fully charged. If the battery indicator is red because the batteries are almost empty, you can simply charge it on the included charging station without having to remove the batteries. If you want to set up several charging stations next to each other and you want it to look neat, you can attach them to each other with the supplied connecting pins. And with the charging adapter with universal plugs, you can charge the handheld scanner anywhere in the world. As an emergency solution, you can always use normal AA batteries in the event of a power failure.

Automatic standby mode and shutdown

If you do not use the handheld scanner for a while, you can lay it flat with the buttons facing up, and it will automatically switch to standby mode after 180 seconds. If the handheld scanner has been in standby mode for 35 minutes, it turns off automatically. This reduces power consumption and protects the batteries.
